Learn to Enjoy Your Own Company (Advice to Myself and Anyone Else)
Something that I've thought about a lot recently that I feel like some people don't get is learning to enjoy your own company.
I personally admit that I've been one of those people before that couldn't accept growing apart from someone I was close with, or the fact that some friends considered me as a "school friend" when I didn't, but I find so much joy and peace in being alone now because I started doing things that make me happy.
What is That, You Ask? Or didn't, but I'm Going to Mention Anyway:
- Update my Neocities website
- Binge-watch shows and/or listen to albums/eps
- Play mobile games (ACPC, Bunny Haven)
- Scroll on Pinterest and update my boards
- Journal
- Make collages
I say all this because it doesn't make any sense to pour out energy into someone else that doesn't care about you as much. To be honest, it doesn't make sense to use energy into something that's meaningless. I encourage you (if you haven't already) to invest in hobbies.
For Example, Here's Hobbies I Want to do More of
- Puzzles, specifically Crossword, Jigsaw, Sudoku, and Wordsearch.
- Coloring, both digital and with a coloring book.
- Painting
- Reading, I used to read so much in my childhood and want to get into it again!
Conclusion
- That's all I have to say, bye-bye!
